Five Easy Easter Play Ideas

Happy Easter Everyone!

Here are 5 simple, Easter themed play ideas to keep you busy:

🐣Nature inspired Easter eggs - cut out some Egg shapes from an old box, collect some natural materials from the garden, e.g. grass, flowers, petals, twigs, then glue them onto the card.

🐣Make some pretend Easter eggs out of play dough. Can you decorate them with different patterns? Create little balls of play dough for spots, and long sausages for lines. This is great for working on those hand muscles and developing fine motor skills.

🐣Have an Easter egg hunt - you could use edible chocolate eggs or pretend ones. Hide them for your child and then ask them to hide them from you.

🐣Potato Printing - Cut a potato in half, poke some holes in one side and cut lines in the other, cover in paint and print. The shape of the potato should resemble an egg.

🐣Can you make a rabbit shaped shadow puppet using your fingers and hand?

Happy Playing!
